Just change the oil and filter, run it for 1000km then change the oil and filter again and forget about it. Maintain 5k or 3 month oil and filter changes moving forward.

If you can find a nice F95 X5 M50i you'll get the SUV headroom and the N63 T2 plus engine from the M550i.
