I've had to drive my MIL's 2.5L Altima with CVT for a few days. I filled the tank with 15 gallons and that nets 539 miles of range according to the computer.
Would gladly give up half that range for (easily) double the performance and fun from the M2.
That being said, another gallon or two of capacity wouldn't hurt...
