The 992 is made for children at best. You can sit an average height adult sitting diagonally across the back seats and with their head bent, but its extremely uncomfortable.
My 6'3" brother can squeeze into the back of my G42 but he has no chance in my 992.
Leg and head room is the main difference.
G42/G87 can fit an adult, the 992 can fit a child.
