Because if so, then I know what I'm getting and can set my expectations accordingly. That being: OK with the shifter, occasionally annoyed by the weird clutch travel.

Edit: and I don't mind high RPM gearing, I came up on NA engines and motorcycles.

Sorry, the G82 was a test drive. My previous M cars were all F series. I didn't really get that much of a test drive since the car was new and I didn't want to punish it.
