I’ve never done a drag race except at the BMW Performance Center and when I was a kid racing my Civic with cut springs on the way to Denny’s at 1am with friends back in High School.

I much prefer road courses and even autocross, but for a low risk Motorsports event with an easy learning curve and low cost of consumables, at least they are at some type of organized event testing their skills and learning rather than doing donuts at a takeover with a bunch of mouth breathers.

Well done OP! Keep going and if you really want to go the next step, hit up an autocross or an HPDE at the track. You won’t regret it!
