Water based and scraping and then dry. PPF is typically 8-10mm thick and has self healing and hydrophobic properties. The stealth PPF will not change your color or consistency. Think of it as exo-skin to protect you.

To note- wraps are vinyl and typically 2-3mm thick and “cheap” feeling vs a PPF. They are meant to change color, not protect. PPF is meant to protect, and some types can change color if the buyer wants. Stealth which I recommended above is used for matte finish cars like yours. It also can be used on gloss to turn matte.

I am attaching a photo of my car here in BSM. It is fully PPF’d STEK. You can see it just brings out the definition of the color and does not change it. You wouldn’t even know it’s there unless you felt the under skirts of my car for seams.
