I bought a case of ‘95 futures while touring the winery. I think it was $85/bottle way back then. One always overpays at the source. Don’t recall what year I actually received it but consumed the case (save this one)over about 10 years as I like to drink one per year or so to see how it matures. This one’s obviously quite mature.
My wife just told me we are having homemade clam chowder, salad and bread for NY Eve dinner. I gotta drink this wine with some meat so will do some ribeyes tomorrow.
