Alright, forget everything I've asked thus far..
If someone can tell me how to prevent the doors auto locking at 10MPH, that will resolve my issue. I've been through every setting and not found a way to disable this, I think my only hope may be coding with Bimmercode or something else.

Sounds like coding is in fact the answer, I have not tested the below but found it on another forum, anyone willing to take a look and reply here?

Headunit (expert mode)
3000 HMI-SPEECH > DOOR_LOCKING_AFTER_DRIVING_AWAY
Change this from inactive to active, and now the option will show up on your iDrive. Once it's visible, uncheck the box and you should be all set.
