I got told you couldn't get lumbar control with the 320d unless you had all electric seats which turned out to be a load of mince.
I had the impression that I was getting a stiff back from the standard seats but after a couple of months the occasional stiff back has stopped. I suspect a few months sitting in it "breaks it in" and no more problems!
