Not sure if Horatiu wrote it, but according to BMW Blog (
https://www.bmwblog.com/2024/10/25/g...20transmission.) the G84 M3 is unlikely to have a manual transmission and at the moment it hadn’t been decided whether it will use a B58 or S58 based hybrid system.
There are no indications the G87 EOP will be extended after the MY2029 production ends in mid 2029, typically BMW doesn’t go beyond 7-year production cycles (the G29 Z4 looks like it will now get one model year beyond normal, though) especially when the G42 production will also be ending, so the body and cabin component production costs will increase as the volume drops off considerably.
