Looked it up out of curiosity and found conflicting info on egg prices between US and AUS, but they appear to be similar.
US Eggs just a hit record high of $4.95 per dozen
Sources indicate a $4-9 range in Australia,
with costs trending upward due to shortage.
"You don't see caged eggs for $3 a dozen anymore, I don't think I've seen eggs for under $6–7 for a while."
