How has the support been?
As-in what are they doing with you to troubleshoot?
Are they asking you to run WOT with logging enabled and they’re reviewing the .csv files?
Have they sent you any new maps to try?
How do you flash a new map onto the PCU?
I called them yesterday to ask some basic questions about the PCU to get an idea of what some troubleshooting processes could look like if I ran into issues with any of the maps. I never really got past the pre-sales mindset - I was hoping to talk more with the engineering/development folks.
It really seems like they designed the PCU to not be as adjustable (custom maps back n forth with support type of thing), but more of a plug n play, set n forget box. You pick the map the works for you and that’s it. 91 oct has maps 1-3 to choose from. Start with 1, test it out, move to 2, test it out, move to 3 test it out etc.
It’ll be interesting to see if those built-in maps work out for most all cars/fuels etc.
I honestly really don’t want a box where I’m having to go back and forth with logging and support etc.
Obviously I assumed I’d be running map 3. Well, sounds like I can’t assume yet n will need to see what I can get away with - maybe I’ll only be able to run map 2 safely, or something.
I wish DINAN had a lot more (or any) notes about each tune and what the differences are.
What exactly are the differences between maps 1-3? Which one is best for the Colorado front range at 6,800ft on 91oct?
