It really does depend....

I was working on my concrete garage floor to epoxy it and I had several oil stains I had to get out before I put the epoxy on

I tried EVERYTHIN, (if I can remember)

Kitty litter did frickkin squat
All manner of degreasers if it had the word De and GREASE I used it
TSP
Detergent
Sawdust

NOTHING, in the end I rented a big ass fllor scrubber cleaner from homedepot, it had a diamond cutting stuff on the bottom and then GROUND the top layer off

Messy as hell, but did the job

CONCRETE IS PORUS and UNLESS you get to it right away and put some sawdust or stuff on it, your done for it will soak in INCHES below, and you can't get it out

125 bucks for 4 hours
