The Z4 has an offset of 47 on the front with an 8" wheel and 50 on the rear with an 8.5" wheel.
So the front will stick out 1.5cm more and the rear roughly the same.
He really needs to ask on a Z4 forum to see if this is a problem or not. He may get rubbing on the wheels arches. See if anyone has put a 15mm spacer on fronts and rears, he might find info on that, if they have they will fit.
