Lucky for me I like old school. Bag has"

Driver - Titleist
3 and 5 woods off the shelf Pings
3 hybrid - same Ping
5-PW PXG irons
50, 54, 58 Cleveland wedges
Bettinardi Queen Bee putter

And ball and glove matters IMO. Using Vice Pro balls and Fit39 gloves.

Betting I stay this course until age further degrades swing speed.
Sounds like a really good bag!

I love my Cleveland RTX6 wedges! I have those in 52, 56, 60. Been able to hit those more consistently over the last several weeks. Now, I need to learn how to put some of that spin on the ball! lol

I have thought about getting a set of woods, but having the 4H has really opened up my eyes to playing that more. I can honestly say that I hit my hybrid so much easier than my irons and I want to continue down that path with them. For example, my second shot on hole 10 this past Thursday...the pin was about 230 yards out. I hit my 4H and made it on the green. It was one hell of a shot! I have been averaging 180-200 with it. So I am a believer in the hybrid even more now!

I am curious to see how far I can hit the 7H. I have an idea but I hope it arrives before my Wednesday golf league next week so I can take it to the golf sim close to me to get an average number.

Hell...if that goes well, I might still get the 6H or even the 5H, who knows! And only have driver, hybrids, wedges and a putter in my bag! lol!!

I don't use a glove at all. Never did with batting while playing baseball. I might get one when I play in Florida the second week of August, just so it can soak up the sweat.

I usually play with Callaway Supersoft in a matte red color or a TaylorMade Distance+ in bright yellow with an occasional Max-Fli in matte orange. I have a few bright green VICE balls that I use to hit over water or if there is water near by. But they are the cheapo kind. I never use my good stuff if there is some type of hazard that I know I will pretty much hit into! lol. I have a hard time seeing the white ball off the tee..so that is why I use color balls.
