Here's a few quick phone pics highlighting the Anika model (827M) in White Gold (painted). I was the first to order this finish so I hope it will help with making a choice for someone else.
Some details on the car:
Wheels: 20x10 +11 & 20x11 +11
Tyres: 285/30 & 305/30 PS4S
Suspension: Ohlins Road & Track (no camber tops)
And a few of my personal thoughts:
- I'm going to the lower the front another 5-10mm
- Maybe not such a popular opinion, but if you aren't going to go really low I think the 20 inch front wheel makes such a huge visual improvement on these cars. Really glad I went down this route.
- The White Gold colour IS the perfect gold tone in my opinion, it's quite pale in real life and will go well with many colours.
- I referenced Porsche Weissgold 539 Satin Metallic when I ordered through John and the factory gave a close approximation. Not really the same as Weissgold 539 but the closest finish they had available.
- The finish is a "Hyper" colour, which is a tinted clear coat painted on top of a silver base. Just like candy paint jobs, you are looking through a coloured clear to a metallic base underneath.
- The finish is very close to the Frozen Gold 763M wheels from the F87 M2 CS. The colour is not totally consistent across the whole wheel and changes between shades of silver and gold as you walk around it adding an extra dimension to the finish.
- I'd love to see BSPK offer some non-hyper paints in satin and gloss, like you can order from BBS, Rays, Apex and appear on OEM wheels (like Porsche Weissgold). I would have chosen a plain painted satin gold if the option was there.
- I've had them fully ceramic coated, including where the wheel weights are, so far haven't lost a weight and after asking the detailer they had not experienced this at all. YMMV.
- Overall the wheels represent excellent value and John's track record is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to order.
