Mid or late November means there's a good chance for snow on the pass. If it were me I wouldn't drive over the pass on summer tires if there was any snow/slush/ice on the roads. It would not be fun. My advice is to keep an eye on the weather and road reports, and have a backup plan in case weather is a factor.
