825M v. 930 Wheels Weights ... The Bare Truth

Swapping the cast 930s out for forged 825Ms (Which came in bi-color, and I had powdercoated black).

Couple of observations:

First, the 930s are identical copies of the 825s. I knew they were close, but not identical.

Second, the weight difference is pretty shocking. You can tell as soon as you lift them.

Third, this may be an interim step. Might go with even lighter wheels down the road, but I like the look of the 825Ms.

First two pictures are the 930s on the scale (in lbs).

Second two pictures are the 825Ms.

It's interesting that the 930s are heavier than earlier reported, AND that the ratio of increased weight is a bit higher for the 20 inch 930s.
