I agree, “stages” are by definition vague.
But to my knowledge a stage 1 car only had a tune and perhaps some bolt ons to support the increased heat (like larger intercoolers).
Stage 2 is all bolt ons including down pipe (by definition, the car in the OP)
Above that I don’t even know, but if you swap turbos and swap internals, is it even stage 2 anymore.
And if stage 1 requires all of those in the OP, what do we call a tune with air intake and exhaust now? Stage 0?
