It seems pretty obvious that the M2 will be auto and manual and the M2C will likely be auto only (like the M3/M4) or hp restricted to 473hp 406ft lb of torque.
Any M2 CS/CSL will be auto only (a rumor that has already been stated).
There is 0 evidence they developed a new manual gearbox.
