No need to wait for a CS or CSL. The standard M2 should lose around 50lbs by replacing the M240i steel roof and large glass moonroof with a CF top. And CF buckets will be available for another 20 lbs or so off. The standard M2 could be in the mid to high 3500s depending how much weight is added back by the widening and strengthening. The G87 will be a peach have no doubts.

I think BMWBLOG's math is wrong, not sure how they got that low of a number. Check out the weight breakdown in my original post. I was just stating that the 55kg reduction in weight was accurate.
