I'm seriously considering wasting the money to replace them immediately, especially since I have new wheels coming. Just have them mounted to the new wheels and swaparoo.

I had Michelin PS4S' on my M3, I removed them after 1,000 miles because I was not a fan. I've had 3 sets on various M cars. While the grip was nice, I just didn't like the steering feel.
Imagine telling my wife, i'm changing out tires on my new car after a few weeks! She understood though. I actually went with Yokohama Advan Apex V601s. I just like the steering feel better than the Michelins. Tires are very subjective in regards to feel, so YMMV.
