here is the part, with pics installed over on the m5 boards

here are the pics of what i took apart:
armrest piece just pops out with a small screwdriver on the side towards the back of the unit.
The sad thing is that there is no wiring readily available. Guess i have to take more apart! The next piece pops off with a screwdriver somewhere in the middle of the little side-flap. Get it a good ways in there before pulling too hard to avoid bitching up the plastic.
there is what looks to be a connector for the cradle as well as off the the left (with a bit of pink on it, second pic, an external antenna)
So it looks like we need the cradle ($150), and the cable (dont know yet). But looks like it is available and not too hard to do.
I will be speaking with the parts dept today to find out about that other cable now that i know it is prewired and just needs a couple parts.
there was a previous thread on this but didn't get far:

My friend, I have no idea what you are doing but the 135i can interface with your iPhone already, the 135i already has a nifty pouch for Mp3 player/iPhone, etc. Hands free talking is easy.
How you missed
THIS, but I still think you can use the iPhone wielessly.
