I know exactly what you mean. Mine is finally broke in, so I did a few Dragy runs yesterday. Just nailing it gave a 4.2 sec 0-60, but when I used launch control, it ran a 3.7 0-60 !! So, yeah, the car is near perfect as is. Still, the mod-bug is a tenacious little critter, eh?
I'll probably do what you're considering, too, next Spring or Summer. For the next 6+ months I want to drive it hard to see if it breaks under warranty
