I have two jacks....
I have also cut little blocks of wood, about the size of the little plastic jack points... Then I put a little wood block into the jack point then jack up one side of the car
Once that side is raised, I put the other jack and little block of wood under the center jack point, about three feet back from the front bumper. Raise the car from that point. Then I remove the first jack and put the jack stands under the forward jack points on each side with little blocks of wood fitted into the plastic doohickies.
Not that inconvenient.
