I really don't want to be one of those people that nitpick every single detail that drops but honestly, those standard seats are major disappointment for the M2 👎🏻
The upside is they do look like they'll be comfortable, like something you can easily slide in and out of but a terrible compromise for lateral support.
I'm also worried how that alcantra material will wear in like over 3 years of daily usage. Trust me, It's no longer going to look pretty 😗

They might be only used in other markets and not NA, at least that's the hope.
I have a feeling the bean counters wouldn't let them use the M3/4 seats and the engineers were saying the cheap seats didn't have enough bolstering for an M car; enter alcantara inserts.
