If I made my tune, I would have matched BMW's warranty. Some tuning companies offer a warranty, and they have been in business for tens of years, they must not be replacing engines often, or they'd be bankrupt.
If you run a map too aggressive for your mods or fuel, you can damage your engine. Outside of that, it's very close to 0%
If you are not comfortable with odds you are getting with a simple tune, it's understandable as tuning is not for everyone. But Im pretty sure the odds of getting into a car accident are higher than damaging your engine from a tune.
