They probably dont want to take a loss, having said that I am sure they will negotiate just to get it out the door. I would say if this is a car you really like and are looking for an M3 dont wait do the negotiating now. Once the nicer weather starts rolling in (and all it could take is a real nice day) Someone strolling into the dealership to look for an 09 (or even a e93 335), might see a heavily discounted 08 and jump on it. Cabs typically dont sell during in big numbers during the winter months and seem to vanish once you hit march.

Worst case the numbers you posted above are a pretty good deal on an e93 M3 as you wont get that on an 09 anytime soon - espcially if you want to enjoy the top down this summer.
