Ok.. I've put together a speadsheet which will give you the speed of the car in a given gear at a given RPM as well as the RPM at a given speed in each gear. All you need to input is the tire specs (note that the diameter is calculated automaticaly) and the gear ratios for your particular car (all of that is available from BMW's website)

I'm pretty sure this is correct. I cross checks with a couple of web based calculators out there. It is however, in US units (i.e. MPH).

I have put in as an example a 330xi. Use in good health.
