Like I mentioned earlier; no wings gives you an unrefined look, it just doesn't connect with the lip properly. You could alternatively have the wings painted in the cars color.
The "problem" with OEM is that it's carbon fiber and about 10 times more expensive than many aftermarket parts. You former spoiler was destroyed because of a chunk of ice, and it might happen again considering where you live. I would never drop 10 times more money for OEM unless I lived in California where ice isn't an issue.
