Great review. Glad to hear your impressions of the 6MT. My OG F87 actually has a damn good non-rubbery shifter. Actually the best stock BMW manual I've had (in 11 different bimmers over the years). What I've noticed over the years as I have driven several F87s is that they vary widely. Strange. Different component suppliers? Something adjusted differently? Installed on a Friday instead Tuesday? I don't know.
In any event ... hopefully I hear something soon about my #3 allocation.
