I plan on doing a complete tear out of the HKs on my G87, and replace with Bimmertech Alpha Ones including subs, (and amp if available). I have that setup in my F87 and the difference is night and day for sure.
If budget contrained (not saying I am not so.. man toys are expensive) then at least start with the A1 subs and pull the HK subs. They really are terrible.
