But remember, the F30 came one model early because they wanted to have them produced for use in the Olympic fleet so as to take advantage of the promotional opportunity to showcase the new car.
I have to assume that the timeline for the LCI will be the same as if the F30 were launched in March 2012 as an MY2013 rather than January 2012 as an MY2012 as it was. The two month difference is not going to cause a major reshuffling of the LCI by an entire year in my opinion. So we should see the LCI in September 2015 for MY2016. And yes, I also expect the F30 will get eight model years since the E90 was cut to six.
