I'm looking in my VIN decoder and BMW configuration and I do not see MPE as a separate item.
I just assume it is standard on M340i.
In Sport+ it pops like machine gun every time I lift from the throttle at any RPM.
A bit excessive in my view, but about right in Sport.
No modes on my car.
