I would want to look at their work before commiting to anything. My experience has been that Usually independent auto body shops Do a better job. I am really picky And repaint of anybody panel is the absolute last resort solution for me. Tell them you are looking for a 100% match. You don't want this crap peeling or cracking six years down the road. Etc. BMW has a pretty good amount of orange peel on it, I'd want that matched as well. Their match should look good under sunlight and fluorescent light. I personally don't want to see tape marks around the seams etc.
It usually becomes an issue when you go to sell the car, people have no idea why the panel was painted and they assume the worst. Take pictures of the damage now. Store the pictures so if you go to sell it, you can show the potential new owner the extent of the damage. This way their minds won't go wild thinking the thing was T-boned
