Oh sure Lexus wants the LF-A to compete with the Porsches and the M6s and they sure can slap a high price on that car but can they really deliver the performance? They haven't shown us anything yet. Their first opportunity to impress in this segment came yesterday with the new IS-F and it sure doesn't look like they did. That's why I think the LF-A will not be as good and I bet the new M3 will not be that far from it in performance.
