EBC Red Brake Dust Review

I put EBC Red pads on the front brakes of my M2 the day I picked it up. Even though the rears were still brand new I wasn’t able to get the calipers over the rotor with the new pads. I understand it takes a special tool.

Attached are photos of front (with EBC Red) and rear (stock pads). This was about 1700 miles of driving (1400 from road trip, 300 normal around town driving).

The fronts do most of the work so it’s not the best comparison, but is the best I could do. Ideal would have been to leave one side stock.

EBC Red have less dust than stock for sure but there is still a lot there. Personally I don’t think I would choose them again since it isn’t really buying much and the wheels are still super dirty after a couple hundred miles.

Are there any legit very low or no dust pads out there for this car?
