Just get a nice long piece of a plastic box strap (like these
http://www.saferwholesale.com/v/vspf...by_outside.jpg) Wrap it around your hands for a good grip.
Slide it behind the emblem and PULL! It takes some effort, but that's how my techs do it. Very easy and its a plastic strap, so guaranteed not to damage the paint.
