Great write up. Having had a ‘13 135i manual with a JB4 I started missing it when I saw your pics. Such a great little car. I had the fortune to do delivery at the Welt as I was stationed in Germany at the time.
Every day I get in my M2 I’m so happy to have a manual. It just makes for such a more engaging experience. I had a C7 corvette and went auto because of all the good reviews. Hated it.
It will be sad day when the time comes there is no manual option.
