Not a fact at all.
Ran into the same thing with the G82. I took delivery of my first one basically at launch (April 2021). The online vocal minority hated it and swore owners would be embarrassed to be seen in it; meanwhile, I got unsolicited props left and right from tons of people in person. If you rode with me, you’d be convinced that BMW made a hit design based purely on all of the attention and random positive feedback.
Ironically, there are several anecdotes of people who hated the G80/82 design and now like it and have even bought one. I have no doubt the same will occur with the G87.
If you don’t like it, stand on your opinion yourself and don’t call it fact.
