The “throttle opening/closing” (in quotes because it doesn’t) is much more aggressive in Sport. So when you take your foot off the gas to shift, the throttle closes abruptly, which makes it buck. And when you engage the new gear and get on the throttle, it will open very quickly, making it jerk. Not a winning situation, but you can get used to it and learn the points of shift.
Sport+ is a different beast and I don’t understand it’s existence. Who would want a pedal you can’t modulate is beside me. Especially with a name like that, which the me implies it’s “sportier”, thus more suited for track… on track you want the opposite of this… maybe I’m misreading the idea they had. But call me when you figure it out
