New Continental DWS 06 PLUS A/S tires

As the new M2 came with Pirelli max performance summer tires and I live in the (usually) frozen tundra of the north, I wanted a more year round tire.

I have run several sets of the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS over the years and have found them to be a great AS tire (grip, ride quality, handling, low noise, decent light snow traction).

I had a set put on today. I went with the stock size of 275/35/19 front but I did increase the rears to 295/30/20 so as to have a bit more sidewall and rim protection. The approved max width rim for the 285 is 10.5 inches and the 295 is 11 inches so as we know the 285 is a bit stretched on the stock wheel 10.5 inch wheel.

As for sizing, the 295 is about 3/10" taller and 1/2" wider with a slightly taller sidewall as well (3.4" to 3.5").

Oh yeah, and they are very reasonably priced.
