Well, I don't think production can accumulate, nor do I think BMW would be sitting on finished inventory. Ultimately shipping volume needs to match production volume somewhat closely.
I actually had no idea that M2 production was that high. At the July run rate we are talking ~20K M2s/year annualized.
Yes, boat shipping is a bunch them up, then send them operation, but it matches production rates on average.
