I understand, "changeover" seems to elude to something like the F87. Where the base model is ended and Comp replaces it. I was just commenting, if that does happen...the Comp could get bumped to Base M3/M4 hp/tq power levels and still retain a manual option. G87 already deviates from G80/G82 by offering auto on Base model. I think people need to stop comparing G87 and G80/G82 lifecycles, it is clear BMW has different plans for G87. Comp model doesn't have to mean auto only.
