Saying that F87 is great in its own regard, it’s a more modern car and it’s able to put power down much more efficiently than g87. I remember once in my f87, I took a spirited turn and I was lucky I didn’t die, since then I have been very careful when I take turns in g87. With f87 torque release is much more efficient- it’s not giving you too much torque/power at lower gear/rpm that vehicle can’t handle. So it’s a more efficient power modern m car with more safe power release but lesser playfulness than g87.

My thought is if you don’t have an M car and want one get the F87 now. It’s such a nice one and you won’t regret. But if you already have one, say an f87, then wait till new M2C comes (but not sure it will have MT ).
I think you have some of your F's and G's flipped
