Mine went to status code 195 this morning. Does that mean it's on a boat or about to get on a boat. Genius said it's waiting at the port but the f12 tricked show me status 195. Hoping Genius is wrong and it's finally on the way.

I wish I could give you a definitive answer, generally speaking.. BMW Genius has all of the answers before the website and app.. the terminal's dont get updated too often (what we see on our apps) but internally they need to be updated often.

TBH, I'd call genius back and get a different rep and ask, some know way more than others, they could have an F12 trick of their own internally.

I called and got someone that didn't know anything.

Called back, got a super nice lady that was able to tell me the ship and anything I needed to know without hesitation.

I had one lady say 8 weeks waiting for a boat, 4 weeks on the boat.

Guy yesterday said he's seen 2 week wait times for ships and 1 week transit time roughly.

Had another guy say it was going by train from Mexico, the train that doesn't exist of course.

How many people have gotten more up to date info from talking to an actual human vs what the automated response from the Genius line spits out? So far I’ve found they both tell me the same status (which is a few steps ahead of what the app/website shows). I’m currently at 180.

That’s nuts.
I got the name of the boat from her and was just tracking the route that way. It was really accurate with its arrival date and time and woke up to see it about 15 minutes from port. The tracker took about 5 hours to update that I was in fact at port

I just called again and she said she shows code 193 so the f12 trick is ahead at 195. She was very nice and said that could be true and it takes them 24-48 hours to update. Anyone else have a car coming to the east coast that just was put on a boat?

If you are talking about the boat to the east coast... it takes like 10-14 days depending which port you are in.

the train probably being referred to is the train from the factory to the port for shipping. the trains exist.

I just called and was told car is sitting at the factory waiting for train to the port. it has been waiting in that state for two weeks now. status 160, which is apparently the catch all code for parked after completion.

I just watched your YouTube video and I’ve seen the stills you’ve posted on the car. It looks amazing, congrats. Yours might be the only car I’ve seen so far where the MP CF spoiler actually looks good on the car. You’ve kinda got me wishing I had done my build differently. I went with SSG, but skipped the carbon roof. I think the only way the spoiler looks good on the car is with the CF roof, and the addition of the inlets and the lip on yours are just icing on the cake. Just the right amount of CF in the right places.

I’m also planning on doing a midpipe. I love Active Autowerke myself. I had their high flow catted downpipe on my OG LCI M2 and loved it. I’m debating between AA and Valvetronic on my G87. Looking to deepen the exhaust tone as much as possible. I do miss the sound of the N55 in the OG. I had a ‘21 Comp after that and it felt like a real letdown in the sound department.

I had one of the first exhausts AA made for the E36 M3. Karl installed it on my 97 M3 right after I bought the car new at South Motors in Miami. That muffler is still on my car and in great shape 28yrs and 100k miles later.
