1200 mile service and fluids not changed

I had my 1200 mile service done my 2024 M2 and noticed when I got home that there was no indication that engine and differential oil was changed. It’s my understanding from this forum that this fluid change is part of the 1200 mile service, but I could find no information in any of my manuals that this is part of the service. I couldn’t find any information on the BMW website on this either.
I’m a little pissed that this was apparently not done, and have sent emails to the SA and Service Manager but no response. I’m calling BMW Corporate on Monday to see what they can do. I blame myself for not being more inquisitive about what was done as I assumed the oil service was done, rather than just a 100 point inspection. So just a heads up to you all about asking the right questions.

What do they claim to have done if not engine oil?

100 point inspection. I don’t think my SA knew what he was doing.

As far as fluids go...yes, you should have had engine oil and differential fluid changed.

Yah, definitely go back and get this resolved.

The BMW term for the 1200 mile service is "Run In Service" and it is unique to M cars. Hopefully the dealer knows what they are doing and it is just the SA who ordered the wrong service.

I have made an appointment at a different dealer for the 1200 mile service. I don’t think my SA had a clue. At least I got a free alignment.
