That’s not really the way it works so it would be impossible to give you an accurate answer. Allocation is based on dealer availability. Some may have allocations for the current month, the following month, and so on.

My dealer didn't have an allocation but they told me they'd get me one and 5 days later I had one. They have a list of dealers that have allocations and what priotity each one is. Priority 1 allocations are customer-sold, 2 is dealer order I believe, priority 3, 4, and so on are basically dealers begging other dealers to take their allocation. If you find a good CA they will work to get you one of the 3/4/5s floating around the country. Sometimes they trade allocations too, for example, "I'll give you my X5 XDrive allocation from Texas (where it never snows) for your Massachusetts (where winter is about to strike) M2 allocation.

It’s so unpredictable! I went fro”m Final Assembly” to “Ready for transport” within 12 hours! Delivery is scheduled for Feb on the west coast. I’m hoping for an early delivery but I’m not holding my breath. Knock on wood there aren’t any hiccups.

Some good news for me!

Car arrived at Southampton 14/11 and now at the dealer being prepared. pick up next tuesday 26/11. UK car and I'm yet to see Sky Scraper Grey in person so looking forward to collection!
