Time to buy the next M2. The car most likely suffered chassis and suspension damage.

I believe you need to speak to the city & get a law enforcement officer involved in the process. As funny as it may sound a CHP officer can file a formal complaint that matches your story & will submit this to the state. Although it may be a bit of work upfront, a poorly maintained roads is the cities fault. Therefore, it's California responsibility to pay for the consequences of their blatant & obvious neglect.

Crap just happens on the roads. I've had my M2 since January and I've already encountered 2 items hitting my car. One was a flattened copper pipe about 18 inches long that my front tire threw up under my car, the metal pierced the underguard and it made a dent in the bottom metal underneath my drivers seat. Then this summer some lunatic guy in a landscape truck, back of truck full of debris (gravel, sticks, etc) flew by me going about 70 spewing stuff from the back of his truck out, and my windshield formed a 2 foot crack.

Good point someone said about driving a motorcycle all over. No thanks.
