MMR Lowering Springs Installation advice

Bought a set of 4 and looking to install soon. Has anyone installed them personally or is this normally best left to a pro shop? I've been looking online for a tutorial but have not had much luck and am apprehensive about working on the suspension.

Did reach out to a local shop in the meantime and they quoted ~1100 in labor for the installation, anyone know if that is average for this service?

Im on the same boat. Ive been hitting up specialty German/BMW shops nearby for a lowering spring install and most quotes are upwards of 600. Im handy enough with suspension work but I know BMW tend to require specialty tools. No luck with DIYs that are detailed enough to go forward with it. Hopefully we get a knight in shining armor to make one soon

Look for DIYs on the m340 or m440. The installs would be the same.

I had my MMR springs done by a shop. They are very reputable, and the charged me $1200. Took about 2 days.

It's been a few months. Just curious, how has the MMR springs been for you? Ride wise, how is it compared to stock?

Pretty good so far.

On the 225/40 Run-Flat Tires:
These feel a little more stiffer and harsher over bumps. On typically roads, these feels as smooth as OEM, and you wouldnt notice a difference.
The Center of Gravity reduced drastically and the car handled better and felt more nimble and sharper that OEM. The roll of the car was also noticeable better.

On the 255/35 PS4S Tires:
These feel very comfy and harshness vs Run-Flats has reduced drastically.
These actually feel softer than the runflat and OEM springs.
Car rolls even lesser on PS4S...

Overall, Love them!

Pretty straightforward install. I did notice that on my passenger side, the gap is larger in the front than rear. It’s not noticeable all the time, but I do notice it occasionally.
Here are pics of mine incase:
